Default CAI Heat shield

Is there a recommended thickness of lexan/plexiglass for the heat shield? Is there a minimum thickness to stay over?

I'd go with 1/4". If you have a lowes near you, ask them to hold on to some scrap for you. They can sell it as damaged under the UPC of a full sheet.

I used a tinted acryllic sheet for mine, basically plexi.

Heat gun @ the 1000* setting works very fast.
