Exhaust Question
All my exhaust piping is 2.25, so would it be beneficial for me to upgrade my cat and muffler to 2.5 even though my down pipe is 2.25?
also
I've did a search but can't find it anymore, but I wanted to know what would you suggest to close up the IAT hole on the rice pipe?

Opening your exhaust on an L27 to 2.5" will rob you of low-end torque.
I plugged the hole in my ADTR intake pipe when I moved the IAT to the filter with a plastic plug used for plugging electrical knockouts. I used a small amount of silicone RTV to hold it in place.

That being said, I certainly wouldn't go bigger. But if anyone wants to upgrade pipe, i'd find an SSEi exhaust setup @ a junkyard and install that. I would love to actually have the chance to compare two 93 cars, with the 3.06, and both exhausts to see what differences may be present.

ok so since my downpipe size is 2.25 then it would have a negative affect if I went up to 2.5 on the cat & muffler right? But it would be safe for me to run a 2.5 in/out muffler?
