FOR ALL 4T60E OWNERS

i did some looking tonight for a shift kit for my car, i came across this in summit. then called granatelli and taked to a tech about it. it plugs inline with our connector on our trans, and is fully adjustable. it controls line pressure and torque converter pressures. and defintly firms up the shift. according to the tech, you can adjust your shift firmness to your liking, from mild to neck snapping. all for 130 bux from summit, mine will be here monday alnog with the rest of my parts.
here is the link to find out more about it. they also have one for the 4T65E too

There's another company that sells that same type of thing.....I'm thinking the B&M ShiftPlus? It's an electronic interceptor/modulator. I understand they work well.

This would make 2 sources for it. I know the Jet Stage 2 chip does the same stuff through the PCM, so if you don't have a chip, this could be an option to get at least some of the chip performance.

Let me know how it works. If it passes your standards I'll buy it.

Edit: I just read the installation instructions and it says the 4T60E model only includes TCC delay control. I'm disappointed.

when i talked to the tech from granatelli, he said that it increased line pressure and toque converter lock up too

does that mean that it can naturally chip the tires going in to 2nd?

Probably. Depends on other mods. My Jet does the same thing for the trans that this new trans intercepter does. Mine will scratch second, and it will break loose at 20-30 mph roll, too. I'll bet Jeff's does as well, as he's running a bit 'hotter' under the hood than the Zilla.

Could you stack the mods? Use both a Jet and this piece? Engine @ wot..... BANG( shift) wot..... (Bang) etc...
