Air to fuel ratio gauge

Bought a cheap A$$ gauge from autozone, not hard to install at all, hooked some wires up and its working, not the nicest looking thing ive ever seen but hey it works! Couldnt find a good place to mount so i mounted it right on top of the dash, screwed it right into there. Id say if you dont want to spend the hundreds of dollars on a good one, buy this, its only $25

I'm waiting for my pillar pod from DP. My gauge is an Autometer Carbon Fiber. It just kinda hangs out with extra wiring so I can pick it up to watch when I want to. Kinda ghetto.

TYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, where are you?!?

Jagman04 Jun 13, 2004 03:19 AM

Monroe Michigan, very close to border of ohio. :) how much is that pillar pod?

The pod is about $50.

I was actually asking where Ty is, the owner of DP. The pillar pods are taking FOREVER. You might want to wait on ordering one till others show up.

DOH lol sorry, $50 thats not bad, does that include the gauges or just the pods?

Just one fiberglass pillar with two pods molded in to hold two 2-1/16" gauges. I guess he can make custom ones, also.

I think an Autometer Air/Fuel gauge is only $48, not bad for the best quality you will find. *hint hint*

I've been waiting for Ty to come around too, I need one of the DP pillars cause my faze one is just a temp.

It actually wouldnt be that hard to buy an autozone universal pillar pod, then make a mold of the pillar you want it on, then fiberglass the mold with the pod part of the pillar pod. all this would cost you about 35 bux, and you would get it right away.

Speaking of that... what abuot people in Illinois who are supposed to be workin that with a MN guy..

if you could find a universal in the same color and with the same molding you could cut and paste em on. It probably wouldnt look too bad with a little seam, it just depends on how picky you are.
