Default Intense'* Oil Pressure Kit

http://www.intense-racing.com/Mercha...egory_Code=PBF

This is for the 94 SSEi

Considering the oil pressure irregularities I've been having, I'd like to try this out. It'* only $28, and it seems to be transferable to another engine. I see a gasket, which I could get again, and then a couple other things. How do these help increase oil pressure? Please let me know that and the basics for getting around to installing it, aside from the beer shopping.

What is different about the S1 in the oil pump area? And how do these few things shown around the gasket help increase pressure? If it really does work at least a bit, I'd be very interested to try it out. Besides, they had to run 20W-50 to get about a 30 psi increase. I don't need that.

Your question about how is, to the best of my knowledge...they provide you with a stiffer spring and new valve for the pressure release....so basically it builds the pressure higher before releasing. And a new gasket obviously.

That is interesting. I'll see if I can find the time this winter to add these goods to my car. This calls for meets at my house, of course, since I can't just buy an engine stand for an oil pressure kit.

It indeed does have an oil cooler. Would this affect the pressure much? I've read about some cars having 60-80 psi sometimes, and mine gets between ~18 and 40. Perhaps this should help, and the radiator is just barely a year old with all new oil pipes and teflon.
