O2 sensor
I've been advised by a friend and some people on the forums to get a new O2 sensor due to my poor mileage (around 17mpg) and other things. Is there anyone who gotten a new one that can suggest what'* the best to get. I'm fairly new to mechanical aspects of my car, so I appreciate the help. Thanks

Oops! I have used Bosch plugs (which are real crap) and Bosch O2 sensors (in my VW Cabriolet). I didn't have any problems with the O2 sensor--just the plugs (three months and I had to replace them again in my Bonneville.--Before I was a member here. I learned the hard way.)

I can tell you definitively that the Bosch O2 sensors SUCK for 2 reasons: #1 they die very quickly, get very slow reacting very quickly and make the puter struggle to maintain closed loop, and #2 they *always* read a lower voltage than they should, making you run richer.
Go with OE!
