SC Pulley Question
Has anyone tried using an alternator pulley on the supercharger??
GM and Ford alternators use a 17mm bore which matches the 92-93 supercharger.
The stock one I have is 2.55" on the outside of the ribs. I assume this is stock.
If anyone has any suggestions, please reply.

Your better off with an after market pulley. zzp has some for the series 1 and pulley boys.
What other mods do you have to go with a smaller pulley?

No mods at this time. I have the engine apart is all. I plan to obtain a scan tool, install new plugs, wires.
I have checked the fuel pressure and it is good. I plan to check the manifolds as well.
Can you offer other areas to review? I have read most of the topics here on the forums.
I know it will never be a 10 second machine, but any cheap mods is what I am looking to do..

If you have it apart there is lots of things you can do
Inspect the mannifold for cracks and have the outter flange welded and hog out the ports.
Fender well intake or fwi, cheap mod for good air. Intense racing.
Gasket match the loser intake, need a dremel tool.
To name a few

lol...yeah if you plan to use a newer pully you have to have supporting mods...and your not going any where near a alternater pulley.
To move a few steps down you can start by doing a FWI (Fender Well Intake) from ZZP along with a downpipe, and port your manifolds or get some new headers. There are plenty of other items you can do and plus look up around performace.

Time to slow down a bit.
On a Series 1, if the heads are not ported, there is no reason or benefit to hogging them out and porting (pdad, you putz.....maybe I didn't tell you )
FWI isn't quite feasible yet, and isn't plug/play. INTENSE just made it alot easier for the 92/93, but there are more changes that have to be made (lose the HL sprayers and go to a smaller washer reservior, relocate the canister, and get someone to fabricate two coupler sleeves). Practical? Sure. But you need to balance that against a traditional SHIELDED CAI first. Is the FWI better? Yup. If it'* in the budget, we can discuss what you need to know here.
If your modding budget is so tight you're looking at alternator pulleys, you might want to re-think modding in the first place.
Your exhaust manifolds will need to be removed from the car, and the heatshields (including from the crossover) will need to be removed also in order to inspect them. If you fail to do this, it may very well cost you your motor.
Trust me.
