Plug related miss
This morning, I encountered just a little momentary missing like when I had Autolite plugs that were three ranges colder than stock. They were fouled bad, so I put in NGK'* that are two ranges colder than stock. It all seemed fine. Well, appearently they are fouling now. I've had them for less than a year. They are TR6 V-power NGK'*. Any guidence on new plugs?

I'm back to the TR55'*.....I really think I'm kinda in between the two heatranges. Not sure yet. My TR6'* looked pretty good except for the one that was missing.

I put in 55'*. My TR6'* all looked pretty good, but one had carbon tracks, so I figured that was the problem. But the miss is still there, but lessened. I've tested my MSD wires recently, and the wire to that plug seemed fine. A few of the others were difficult to get a good reading off. Maybe new ones should be on order. They are 1.5 years old.

MMkay, replaced my MSD'* with a set of stockers that I tested as good. Except the shortest one, so I left the MSD wire on that cylinder after I tested it. The miss still exists. Would the extreme difference on resistance of the two wires on one coil cause a problem, like much more energy going to one cylinder and not evenly? I understand that, but don't know if it would be a problem. The miss usually disappears after the engine is warm. I tested the coils recently, maybe I shoud test them again.

Also clean up the surface area of where the ICM meats the bracket. The ICM grounds on the bracket, and without good contact, it won't work, or won't work well. May also want to put some die-electric grease on the main connector to the ICM, can't hurt, especially with winter comming.

*cough* Sorry for the dust...
So, after trying bulb grease on the connector prongs for the coils and in the spark plug boots, the miss remained. I swapped the coils from my wife'* old 93, and the miss ALMOST went away. I was left with just this kinda surgy miss, ususally came in triplets. I added some tranny fluid cause it read almost .5 L low. It'* almost nearly gone, just a wee little bit left.
What else can I try?
