Default Vette brakes?

The president of our local ClubGP chapter(GOClubGP) is going to be installing brake calipers and rotors from a Corvette on his Grand Prix GT.

Is the steering knuckle/hub assembly from the 97+GP the same piece as on the 2000+ Bonnie? If it is, then it'* also the same piece on my PA!

What would y'all think of a PA with Vette brake rotors/calipers?

Has anyone put bigger brakes on our bonnevilles. That would be great even though I wouldn't be able to show them of with the ghetto golds.

I just parked next o Vette for a while on Sunday. The freakin discs on the front of that thing looked almost as big as my whole danged wheel!! I have a hard time imagining they'd fit inside a stock Bonne wheel

You can see brakes behind those wheels...

Larger rotors on the 92-99 are probably one the best things you could do.

I've been wondering this for a while, so I'll go ahead and ask it..... has anybody done a 4-wheel disc conversion on a 92-99 yet? That'd be the way to go, especially if you were switching to Corvette brakes.

if you really wanted4 wheel discs couldn't you do the swap and just bypass all the ABS stuff. Then you could take all of it out and save a bunch of weight.

I would only do that if you were a REALLY good driver and could control your foot in a panic.
