both legal/ non: before the cat and is this the same size as the pipes running after the cat?

It'* a Y-pipe you have to weld into the system. And I don't see it doing anything for you but hurting your performance. You need to be flowing ALOT more through the motor before you even think about it.

There are only two cars on this Forum running one. One is manual, mine will go manual or programmed/electric. Both of us are seriously (more than double) outflowing your car.

I suggest working on more basic proven mods first.

How about you tell us what your goals are and what your realistic budget is, and we can save you the time and effort in trying to dig stuff up and ask about it?

I've had a DMH cutout on my car for a few months. Great quality with a warranty.
A buddy of mine has had his for over year through two winters.

A cutout has been proven to give 1-2 tenths at the track on a CAMed n/a car.

But as mentioned, on a stock car it'* going to hurt you.

Get the thousands ready. You'll need heads, a turbo, and alot of other custom work. And when you're all done with that, start looking at exhaust cutouts. But forget the cheap summit crap.

Get a QTP if you have a budget to match your ambition.

the camaro is my fathers and mine, we restored it after it was totaled and the 1/4 mile time was on one of those digital timers, but we also ran it a maple grove so i will dig up the slip
