I HAVE A 93 OLDSMOBILE DELTA EIGHTY-EIEGHT THE THING IS I DONT THINK IT IS LOUD ENOUGH IT HAS A NON-SUPERCHARGED 3800 IN IT
ITS NEW PARTS LIST IS EXTREME CONSIDERING I JUST GOT IT
MASTER CYLINDER
BATTERY
ALTERNATOR
RADIATOR
NEW RADIO
NEW SPEAKERS
HORNS
SPARK PLUGS
THE REAL PISSER IS THAT I JUST GOT IN TO A WRECK WITH IT RUINED THE SIDE FENDER FRONT BUMPER AND TO SIDE LIGHTS THE GOOD THING IS MY COUSIN DOES AUTO COLLISION REPAIR 2,299 DOLLARS OF DAMAGE I PAID 5,000 FOR THE CAR

AINT THAT A BITCH BUT

ENOUGH GETTING TO KNOW YOU GUYS


MY QUESTION IS HOW LOUD WOULD IT BE IF I JUST CUT OUT THE MUFFLER AND RAN A STRAIGHT

IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAS ANY BETTER IDEAS I WOULD APPRECIATE IT

Modification?
Click the key to the left of the A key.
If you just cut the muffler off, it will sound cool at idle but it sounds like complete crap otherwise.

the car would really sound bad.....i mean really bad....I would look into getting a Flowmaster F body Muffler either in the 80 series or the louder 40 series to satisfy your exhaust sound

Straight pipe will sound like ***, and you'll likely LOSE low-end torque and off the line performance.

a 40 series will be plenty loud...

Only caution I would give is if you do highway driving frequently, you'll feel that there is a reverberating drone all the time. Bascially...there is..

If I've learned anything recently, I've learned that the perfect exhaust tone is in the ear of the beholder. At least he'* using the super 40, which is more mellow than the std. 40 series.

yea well i was thinking now about taking that super 40 and a y pype and running duals 2 1/2 inch what do ya think
