3.8 series 1 in 93 grand am gt

Ok here is the deal I am trying to find out how to put a series 1 supercharged motor into my 93 grand am gt 3.3 with a 3 speed auto. I have a an extra getrag 284 at my house that I could use or a 4t60-e out of my brothers 94 lumina z34 if he does a 5 speed swap. since a 3.3 is a destroked 3.8 how would I go about the swap, what parts would I need and do you guys thaink tat it would be worth it. o yeah I also have andother 3.4tdc just rebuilt also but I figured that the 3.8 would feel more at home in my engine bay. please help I am open for questions and comments.

We'll help you as much as we can.....I think you'd be better off with the 4T60, personally, although the gertrag would be fun. I just don't think the clutch would last long, especially if you start moddding.

It can be made to fit, but it may be tight. It's been done with cavaliers before. Have you seen www.L67swap.com ?

The Getrags are generally stronger then a 4t-60 e .
