Do you want a standard T stat or a higher flowing one?

Higher flowing order from ZZP or Intense-Racing and you'll pay I think $12 plus shipping.

The thing about T-Stats is that they can be as much as 10 or 20 degrees off, whether you are running a standard or hi-flow version. If you want consistent opening temperatures that are more accurate (2 degrees or less), then you should go with a balanced thermostat.

For our applications and modding, a standard T-Stat will work just fine.

A high flow thermostat is simply drilled as far as I'm aware. All my cars run stock thermostats that I get for $7. Not even the fail-safe ones that cost about $10. The fail-safe thermostats fail too often. The stock ones keep working for me, so I won't think I need fail-safe ones until after an engine overheats and dies.
