Need a Temp Gauge
Well im back again, with a couple questions anyway My problem is that the vehicle i own did not come with a temp gauge. Im not sure why Gm did this but to this day it reallly bothers me, anyway to get to my point, with all this warm weather coming i would like to know what my coolant temp readings are. From what i have determined i would have to install a custom coolant temp gauge. First a couple of questions for the pro'*
1. Does my 1993 LeSabre custom even have a temp sensor?
2. Where can i buy a recommended temp gauge.
3. How would i go about installing the temp gauge, this is reffering to where the sender unit(sensor) is located, and how would i go about my wirring. What source of power can i tap into, where to tap the ground etc..
4. Would i need to drill a hole in the firewall to send the wires through? If so what is the recommended spot for drilling etc..
Again i am really sorry for all the questions, i am fairly new to this modding form. Thanks in advance

You have to have a sensor for the PCM/dummy light.
We don't know much about your bare-bones setup, as all Bonnevilles already have temp gauges. Some cars have a dual-purpose sensor that has 4 wires. 2 for the PCM, 2 for the gauge. Others have 2 sensors. One sensor for the PCM, one for the gauge.
Look under your TB in the LIM and just behind the TB between the end and the #6 injector. One of your sensors should be installed, the other (typically for Buicks) should have a hex-head plug in it. Remove the plug, and put in the sensor/gauge aftermarket package of your choice.
