you don't need a Hogan downpipe if you have the SLP headers.

is this what you ordered?

Honestly, I would try sell that Hogan downpipe and buy a simple Magnaflow cat off ebay for like $50-60. If you don't want to sell it, you will need to cut the cat off, the SLP headers have their own downpipe.

Mike, not making an example, but making an example (knowwhutImean?)

This is why it'* best to post your plans first, and order second. Recently had a bad brake order for this very reason.

Let'* get that posted in For Sale, and order up what you need. You'll save money in the long run.

(these mods will make it harder to compete at WCBF....consistency is the key in bracket racing, and the more you mod, the harder it gets........)

Won't Hogan simply return the setup you bought?

Bill, what do you mean, "the more you mod, the harder it gets"
im not sure what your talking about, with the bracketing, and all that.
well, unfamiliar with your wording i spose.

haro, i ordered the downpipe/cat from 3800performance.com
i made two phone calls with no resolve, im just gonna chop n sell

oh, and im still waiting for Todd to reply, he said everything should've been in the box, he packed it himself, but the parts were nowhere to be found.

HOPEfully he can get them here by fri/sat i want this done! :P

Mike, bracket racing is like handicapping.

A 15-second car can beat a 10 second car if he'* more consistent on reaction times, and closer to his dial-in time without 'breaking out' with a quicker time.

So the more consistent you and your CAR are, the better you do. As you mod, the car can get harder to launch consistently, putting you at a disadvantage at the track.

Last year I rane a 14.275, and Matt (SSEiMatt93) ran a 14.344. We would probably dial in at 14.3 and 14.4 if we were bracket racing with those as our time trial runs. Matt would get a slight head start (slower car does, so you finish together at the line). This is incredibly unnerving in competition if you are the quicker car, when the other car leaves first and you're still waiting for your light. Big advantage again to the slower car.

I have to have patience, and watch my lights, not being affected by the fact that he'* gone. I have to run him down and catch him, but now we're watching each OTHER. Whoever is ahead at the line MAY be going to quick, and could break out. It'* a totally mental game. There'* alot more to this, but that'* it in a nutshell.
