i'll be back around november. as for the air that is probably the only thing i don't like about my car don't hate it but i want to make a lil bit stiffer. if there is a way to do that i'm all ears. i have a bad experience with fish tailing with my car. and yes i have new tires all the way around. or could it be that my air ride is bad (never thought about that one), but anyway lowering my car is now out of the question. so don't worry about me taking away from the bonneville tradition.

but back to the matter at hand. new pcm, electic supercharger.....smashed, jet chip, headers w/ downpipe (SLP Exuast headers or TOG) , and supercharger from www.3800supercargers.com anything other ideas?

That'* enough for me. Including their ram-air claims.
so, what you are saying is that you have no REAL evidence to point to this intake being garbage... i understand your being skeptical, but you arent even giving it a chance, be realistic bill.

I'm being a very realistic person in this case. 3x the flow with a pipe within a pipe is an impossibility within the laws of physics when the source (engine vacuum) is unchanged. When a manufacturer makes this claim on their website, there are obvious conclusions to be made with a high degree of probability:

1. The owner of the company failed physics
2. They are catering to the ignorant import tuner (ricer) crowd.
3. They have zero understanding of the dynamics of airflow through an internal combustion engine
4. They know better, but are lying their A * * E * off to promote sales.

The L67'* with forced induction don't see 3x the airflow that an L36 sees.

Your fishtailing is due to the center of gravity with your car being high and to the rear, and having the 'soft ride' suspension. Upgrade to FE2 suspension from an SSEi and you'll likely solve that problem.

Lowering the car is NOT out of the question. It'* been done.

Nobody here has run a Jet PCM for your year. Most lean towards the 'local' pcm'* that our common vendors provide (who are much more familiar with our drivetrains than JET). This is not true for the 93 SSEi, as that is the only PCM available for that year and model. In your case, you have a better selection, and there may be a better choice for you.

Your link to www.3800superchargers.com is greek to me. And you can't just add a supercharger to your engine. There'* another topic here in this section from today that should answer your questions with regards to that.

Sell your car and buy an SSEi. It'* the least troublesome most cost-effective way of getting a supercharger.

Take some time to read through Techinfo (link at the top of the page).

well i was going to sell my se and get a ssei but considering the miles i have on my car and how much money i've put into customizing the interior. the most i'll get is about $4000. and i haven't found a ssei for less than 12. so i guess i'm stuck with what i got then. the supercharger on zzp runs for about 650. and i know that i have to do some mods before i slap it one. i'm pretty sure it won't come up to $12,000 (or am i dreaming?)

Your price ratio between an SE and an SSEi is a bit off. By thousands. They're much closer than the prices you've quoted in most areas.

The ZZP kit has some hidden costs which would also probably include labor, cores, gaskets, and whatever. Maybe you should wait to commit to that kit until it'* acutally purchased by a few people and has some miles on it.

that prices is what was offered to me. i've been looking at the gaskets and everything i think i would need. oh and the work i will do myself i hate having somebody else doing something that i can do myself. but here is the list of everything i have found so far...

supercharger: 650
supercharger oil: 7
kit: 200

am i missing anything?
