You'll like the 3.29 gearing, I know I do.

Nice :P

When does it go in, and what is your stock gearing?

If I recall, he told me had 2.86 now...should be quite a difference.

If it was stock, the SLE had 3.05'*, so he wasn't too poorly geared, yes, the 3.29'* will definitely awaken that lug.

Depends how deep into the transaxle you're willing to go.

For now, while n/a, and assuming you don't want to drop the trans or open the case and you have no transaxle mechanical issues otherwise, the 3.29 diff, a shift kit, and an auxilliary trans cooler are about all you can do or need to do.

If you are willing to drop the trans, maybe a higher stall torque converter...but that'* only worth considering IMO if you are planning on a cam.

If you do go turbo in future, I would recommend going to a -HD differential and output shaft, among other things. (And these "other things" would require the tranny be dropped out and opened up).

If you're going turbo, you might as well upgrade your torque converter and your input shaft while you're at it... A 300m input shaft is about 400 bucks, I think, and while that may seem like a lot, it'* certainly good insurance once you're running >300 hp...
