Default Fram Airhog air filter

Fram is having a rebate on their Airhog air filters through the end of the year. Model PPA6479 fits most of our cars. [Delco A1096C equivalent]. This is a cotton fiber/oiled element lifetime high airflow filter like K&N model 33-2086. Fram filter is available on Amazon for $36.63 with FREE shipping. Fram'* rebate is for $20 off SO it is only $16.63 after rebate. I got one for me and you can too. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have an Air Hog. And yes, I guess you could say I "love" it. never had any problems with it, any way. Much cheaper than the K&N, but I can't compare anything else between them.

And, the only "bad" fram filters I've heard about are their oil filters.

I bought a regular Fram paper filter, but when I got home to open up the box, I found an Air Hog inside. I guess they got switched some how. The guilt really got to me for like 5 whole minutes.

I've had both K&N as well as Fram Airhog filters. I think the Fram Air Hog is just as good as the K&N. Although now I stick to the AEM oil free filters, although I still have the Air Hog in my TJ, at least untill I put in a snorkel
