Default Enjoying my INTENSE gen 2 LSD

Car is driving great with Intense'* Gen 2 LSD. Tourque steer is dramaticly less, not gone but 90% gone. No longer have the fear of ending up in the next lane or ditch either.
Before I could punch it from a roll and light the tires up, to speeds up to 24mph going straight on a little road I've been testing on. Today could only break them loose at 9mph. Pretty good difference. Just grips and goes. Now I would get a little wheelspin at speeds higher than 23mph all the time in general driving, not a lot just enough to slip and have the steering wheel get all squerly. NOT ANY MORE!!! I'm just using 23mph as a refrence for a little before and after results for a staight line roll. Sure temps and all that will vary results but you get the Idea...Power to the road!

I noticed that now when I step on it around a turn, that one wheel still slip but onlu untill the wheels are pointing straight, no longer than that. Also a big difference, no tourque steer either while car balances out.

Pics below are just to make sure everything is working correctly.

Gotta give a to INTENSE for another great product.
Also there was No preloading with those burnouts, just mash the gas.

Sounds like your enjoying it! Thats good to hear! Now you just need to go to the track and see how much you can improve your 60' time.

As I have already said, I truely hope you have more luck with this than my dad has had with his Gen I'*!

Looking forward getting to the track soon, waiting till after april 10th when the rockers go on. My 60ft and times in general I'm guessing will be a bit quicker on a dry track this time and all.

Hey shawn quit wishing me luck with it, don't want any curses.

Taylor,

Honestly, how do you think the actual performance was between your car and mine? Maybe it was all your dynomat but your car was so quiet and all i heard was the whine from the SC, kind of made me a bit jealous. with the LSD it felt like your car was accelerating pretty quickly but it was a lot smoother than mine.

I'm beginning to feel a bit like i'm ruining my car, I drove Kendra'* yesterday and it was nice and quiet, definately not as punchy but almost a nicer ride? Hmm.. I guess in the quest for HP something has to give....

Well First off I have to say that Dynamat definitly plays a big role in the quietness of my ride. There'* very little outside noise heard, especially from the rear, can't hear my exhaust at all, seriously. I agree that in my car I hear a lot of supercharger whine and Nopt much else. Wonder if your SLP box has something to do with it vs. my more open thrasher box too. Your box did look thicker than mine. I know you were jelous that my IAT temps were almost double ambient air. Going to fix it up nice at the mod day on the 10th.

I do have to admit that your car did seem a little rougher/ louder than mine, but your butt meter was higher than mine, more pull than me. Don't think that you ruined your car, the only thing that your ruining is your Tranny! If some how you ruined your ssei by putting in headers and rockers and such, I guess my car is going to be ruined soon too.

I did notice that your 1-2 shift wasn't as quick as mine with the same shift kit, I thought that was interesting. My tranny is going to break sooner. :?

Maybe you should get your headers wraped soon, maybe that noise is getting to you. If a quieter ride is what your after. Go get some dynamat and just do the front doors. Not hard to do at all. Peel and stick, works great in cutting outside noise. Hardest part is taking off door panel and that not that hard, all you need is a panel popper.

I wonder how Pdad and Silver feel on the topic.
