Lowering my SSEi question
Ok, I really really want to do this ,but with no aftermarket springs available what should I do? Would cutting the coils really screw it up that bad? Almost every car I've ever owned has been lowered cuz I love the looks, the rides not that important. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you cut the springs you will have boat loads of issues with the rest of the suspension parts......they will wear quickly including the diff (I think)
not that easy on FWD cars to lower them without lots of side effects.
I suppose a minor drop of an 1.5" or so would not do much harm but anymore could cause a lot of issues down the road

EDIT: don't use them--see post and links below that was posted by Willwren

I was going to say something along the lines of "I have never delt with them so shop at your own risk" but didn't want to offend anybody. Sorry for the B.*. link and info....

Have you tried www.coilsprings.com . There are a couple of members here who have gotten springs from them.

Hate to be a downer, but RSM is not too great either, in my experiences with them. Took months to get me a refund on parts I ordered that never came. Slow service, no communication....I'll stop there.
