i got them off of a fellow bonnevilleclub member that found them in a slavage yard. cost was $60 for everything, including the pushrods. it reduces the frictional drag on the stock 92 rocker arms. the new series 2 rocker arms have roller pivots too. they just redesigned them. crane cams sells this roller upgrade for the ford pedestal mount rockers and you just get the pivot, thats all for like 140 bux. they claim 5-8 hp doing it, but im figuring maybe a couple.

these rockers in the pics have well over 100,000 miles on them, i put them in our carb tank at work for a few hours and rinsed them off, all the bearing , rockers and pushrods were like new. absolutely no wear at all. and best of all, these will fit under our vavle covers. i wrote a few custom cam companies yesterday to see if they can custom make a cam for the series 1 engines. ill post when they get back to me with a new cam topic

Yes they are the factory rockers with the same ratio... But what I was looking at was a way to reduce friction in the valvetrain... The rockers in the 93 and later engines will see nothing for wear in the rocker arms, the 88-92'* will see wear in the rocker arms, all of that wear equals a little less power, and more friction... The rocker in the pic have no wear at all, they look like they are brand new, the set from an older 3800 will show plenty of rocker arm and pivot wear, these problems were corrected for the 93 model year...

JUST CHANGED MY SPRINGS TODAY, WANTED TO POSTED THIS ASAP. 93-94 SPRINGS "WILL NOT" WORK ON 92 AND EARLIER CARS. 92 AND EARLIER HAVE 3/8" BOLTS THAT HOLD THE ROCKERS DOWN, 93-94 ROCKERS HAVE 5/16" BOLTS.
BUT THE SMALL BLOCK CHEV SPRINGS AND RETAINS WENT RIGHT IN :(
JUST WISH I COULD HAVE USED MY ROCKERS.
