WTF??? hmm olds had cars with Sc'* in them Im serious.. I have been into olds since I could stand up.... in the back of that 72 442 w-30 in 82' pokin a holes in the head liner after I undid myself from the car seat.. btw.. car is still in the fam all restored but back to the topic..

I have a 1990 olds toronado, 77 olds 88 indy 500 pace car and a 1966 olds toro w/ 455 and I am really into my little 3800 90 toro but its showing a little age and I want another car... not a diff butanother.. im keepin the toro.. and so I have been looking into bonne'* and buicks since they come SC.. but I just fell unto this tidbit of sc Ts'* and the Lss Sc? wtf? news to me...

Can I get a list of all of the differant olds out there that are super charged?

i thought there were just the Eighty-Eight LSS'* and a VERY few Series 1 L67 Ninety-Eights

1992-1995 Olds Touring Sedans and 1994(?)-1995 Olds LSS'* came optional with the Series I L67, and the 1996-1999 LSS'* come optional with the Series II L67, although the 1997-1998 are the most common.
To my knowledge no other Oldsmobile came with the L67 -Series I or Series II.

95' was the first L67 powered LSS. I thought for sure 93' was the last year for the Touring Sedan. After the Touring Sedan the supercharger option remained on the 98s until 95'. I have a 1997 supercharged LSS. I think you should test both the 92- 93' Touring Sedan and 96-99' LSS. If you have a need for speed the 96'-99" LSS will win you over. It is much quicker than the Touring Sedan. However, if you are on a budget and like interesting interiors the TS is for you. The TS has got to have the coolest interior out of any car. The seats have amazing lateral support and are heated!! I couldn't believe heated seats weren't even an option on the LSS. Now this is granted you can find these cars for sale. They are rather rare.

Sorry no pic of ours (hers ) but this is the same color. Ours is still in exc. condition with only a few tiny door knocks and scratches. 112,000 miles now. Interior is clean as this cars. Just the typical checking lines in the drivers seat, as this car has. The down side of leather.







wheels, F41 suspension, leather w/buckets console floor shift, sunroof, chromium mirrors, compass, TC, dual climate control, air ducts in the back of console for rear, rear armrest with dual cup and storage, pass through hole to trunk, probably some other things I cant think off. Ours has the L67* which is very rare in LSS, most have the L36*. With the L67 it is comparable to Bonneville SSEI just no GFX body cladding and I guess Pontiac has lots of gadgets in dash or console.

*L36 = Series II 3800
*L67 = Series II SC 3800

Delta88 - The LSS handles great but still has large luxury car feel. Variable rate springs are softer on top inch or so of travel and gives some initial body roll Im sure your 90 Toro does not have. Once pressed in corners it behaves and holds great. You just need to get used to the initial slight lean. I dont like variable rate for corners. Its great for interstates but not the best for country roads. I do recommend the LSS w/L67. I do not recommend any cars that have the L36. I have one of those as well, '99/88 50th Anniversary. You know what they say about one bad apple.

Hmm, my 90 toro handles like $h1t.... well doesnt help that the sway bar links are shot, needs new struts all the way around and all.. but hey.. its comeing.. hows thos sound.

my shop guy will change out all 4 struts if I get the parts for 130...... I like to do all of my own work.. bu when I had it in there for a ehaust leak I had to ask so I think that I will take him up on i t....time to post a perf strut question elsewhere lata

I drove an LSS with an L36, and am glad I found one with an L67. Big difference.

I saw somewhere that only 3% of the 1995 LSS'* made had the L67.

Which plug wires do you have? I have to do mine soon.
