Because the idle is still off a little And when I drove it yesterday, on my 2nd stop, I had to tap the accelerator to keep it started It was only a 4ish mile drive in town so I didn't get over 35mph |
It will relearn but the idle shouldn't be bad while it's doing it.

Back to square one

This is how whole thing started months ago No check engine light, the erratic idle and having to feather the accelerator to get it to stay started once it was warm A horse is looking better and better |
Has the throttle body been cleaned?

But I just found out how to take the screen off so I'll do that today If someone can give me step by step instructions I'd appreciate it Also, everything I've watched/read says to spray the MAF with the car running while someone revs the the engine I don't have anyone to help so is there a way to do it with one person? Also, I noticed yesterday that the screen has black stuff on it that I'm pretty sure wasn't there before now |

I'd mentioned earlier that I can't see if the TB is clean because of the mesh screen that's in front of it

You just need to remove the things that need be. Take pictures as you go. Remove the throttle body completely off and make it look like new. That will likely fix your idle problem.
I'll try that Wish me luck |
