Wet Drivers Carpet, a few questions.

Hello again,
It poured last night (an understatement) and today the drivers carpet was very damp. It started over the winter but I thought it was just melted snow and such, since I don't drive this that often I didn't pay alot of attention to it then, but theres no way the carpet could've gotten wet yesterday so I'm looking at the door seals which seem very loose but not cracked or torn. I assume they were glued down at one time.

Are these door seals vehicle specific?

What about this connector under the drivers rug I read about.. anyone with a link to more info on it. I'm not having electrical problems and would like to keep it that way :)
I did not find anything with my poor search abilitiies.

Thanks once again,
Timmy

Ok I searched from the leaking angle instead and came up with a good and long thread started by Jr's3800 (Don). For other with leaks its a very good thread to read up on.

The best place to start is with your door seals. Don has great info in that thread about how to repair the door seals. All of my past Bonnies had water coming in from the door seals.
