Hmm...I would check and see what kind of voltage is being sent to the knock sensor then. I believe it should be around 5 volts.

I am sorry but the knock sensor voltage will not be 5 volts on a 12.6v system. You must bring this type of problem into a shop where they will be able to get your specs on the system for this vehicle and unless you have a multimeter, backprobes, and know how to check for it you cannot fix this problem. also the light will not go off by itself for 40 warm up cycles unless fixed and cleared off by a scan tool.

Most sensors on Bonnevilles are 5v. I would expect the Intrigue to be similar.

Actually that is very not true.
Most of the voltages on a Bonneville are low voltages at idle and usually go up with engine speed and load. To get the exact voltage it would need to be looked up. For example the TPS is .43 to .5v at idle and get up to 4 to 5v at wide open throttle and unless this code was set at wide open throttle it won't be 5v. There are lots of electronic sensors and they usually run at very low voltage. Last but not least, never compare GM to Chrysler, that is like comparing a horse with a turkey. They are alike in no ways possible.
