Oldsmobile Alero Stuck Speedomoter

On my 2003 Oldsmobile Alero instrument cluster, the speedometer gauge is stuck. How can I fix it?

jwfirebird has a reputation beyond repute

if your car isnt shifting weird your vss is good to your computer, so that most likely only leaves your gauge pod to be bad. not likely theres anything your going to be able to do by tearing it apart
