okay, if any of you all have ever had this problem i need help please, my driver info center was bright when we first started working on it, then the next time we started it, it didnt look like it or the climate contol temp worked, but i noticed when i looked closely it has a really faint light when i turn the key before i start it, then the faint light for info center and climate control temp go away like they dont work, what do i need to do? thanks

its a 1995 oldsmobile aurora

What work are you doing on it?
I have the service lit for it if you need something.

im not doing anything on it right now, im waiting for my dad to help me work on it, we had just replaced the fuel pump on it and we went to start it and the info center didnt look like it was working so i started it in the morning when it was dark and come to find out its really faint light when i turn the key then i start the car the info center and temp control for the car go blank like they dont work, i dont know whats causing it

Check the dash brightness knob/wheel/etc.

It might have gotten accidentally turned down or spun to a dirty spot on the potentiometer.

yes, i have checked the brightness wheel a lot of times, it doesnt make a difference except with the interior, just not the info center or temp control

Does it adjust the brightness of the gauges and radio?

yes it does brighten, dim the radio and gauges

So, between working and not working, nothing has been worked on besides the fuel pump?

yes we have only worked on fuel pump
