Multiple Electrical Issues

Hi, I have an 02' Model Bravada. When the headlights come on the instrument cluster has what can only be described as a stroke, and when the headlights turn off it displays the security light but the cluster goes back to normal operation.
The driver window doesn't work but every other window works.
The radio stay on all the time and the only way to turn it off is to disconnect the battery. It is an aftermarket radio with a harness adapter I got from the local auto parts store.

Start by cleaning all your grounds.

I'd start by checking the wiring in the boot between the driver's door and the door frame. Look for broken and/or frayed wires.

. . . then I'd do what carfixer007 said above ^^^^^^^

The grounds are a good thing to do when you have electrical gremlins but the door loom is a great place to look for problems related to the windows. The switch may very well effect the cluster if it has the dimmer in it.

These S10's, Bravada's, Blazers and the like all had issues with the ignition switch taking a shit causing all sorts of issues.

If you go digging around the blazerforum.com searching for ignition switch, you will find all sorts of goodies.

The headlight switch does have a dimmer in it, I'm going to get one Friday and see if it fixes it, I had someone inspect the cluster and repair it so I know it's not the cluster
