How do i get my door pannel off?

I just want to know how to get my cars door pannel off. I can pull off the plastic black things but the door handle, window handle, and maybe something else is stopping me. How do i get it off?

did you remove the pop out lights....do it now

remove the thing behind the doorhandle.

remove the red reflector.

remove both lights. screws are under there in addition to one torx head underneath the doorhandle

God.. After an hour trying to figure out how to get the armrest off and breaking two things inside of the housing i gave up for today. Too afraid i was going to break something big. How do i get it off? Also the door puller seems solid on there and i cant get it out. Another thing is the part where the seatbelt comes out on the top.
BTW i see you got a new car?

I got the screw behind the reflector but i dont think that there are any lights here.

You have lots more to do!

The grab handle has rectangular plastic covers on both sides. You have to pry those off to expose two screws that hold the grab handle and the door panel.

The soft part of the arm rest slides back with enough force and that will expose more screws.

I believe that there is a screw underneath the area where the arm rest is. That should be visible with the seatbelt mechanism cover removed.

The plastic grommet around the seatbelt pops off to reveal another bracket with two screws.

You'll have to pop off the window handle. Those are usually held on with some kind of retaining clip.

There is one screw under the plastic cover where the mirror mounts.

I think that should about cover it.

Andrew is steering you right.

If you want to make sure you don't break anything....

You might take your torx and a phillips head and slot and such and find a junkyard where you can "practice" on a door panel that is damaged and cannot be sold anyway. That is a really good way to learn. But please don't tear up a good panel that the yard could sell. That makes it harder for all of us.

Thanks to you guys i got the panel off but it is still attached by the seatbelt and the side mirror adj. cable. I dont plan on taking the door panel all the way off for now but how would i get it detached from the side mirror cable?
