Fuel lines
 

Does anyone know if GM still has fuel lines for these cars and a price? After fixing my brakes last Tuesday,( rear metal line rusted out and wheel cylinders started leaking :x ). I discovered my fuel line is leaking :evil: where it curves toward the rocker panel in the front. Don"t know if it is the main line or the return line. Apparently the metal lines on these cars rust out even though the body is clean.

1989 Olds 88 Royale

Check with GM... But I'm not sure...

You may also want to check with both autozone and or Advance auto parts... Possibly Dorman / Motormite as they make many parts for a variety of diffrent cars older and newer... Good luck

If it is in the middle of the run, you can replace it with a section and two compression fittings. All you need is the right size tube. If it is near the end and comes to a fitting, you'll have to find the correct fitting and tube length.

I replaced the part that connects to the downstream end of the fuel filter and runs along the driver's sill. I bought a 20" section with the correct fitting for the filter and a compression fitting. 30 min and a little tube bending later, the problem was corrected. For the life of me I can't remember the size but it isn't anything wierd like the brake lines and bought it at NAPA I believe.

Thanks, I talked to a friend who has a 87 Buick Lasabre, he said he bought both fuel lines from GM dealer, said it was around $30 for both. I'll check tomorrow.
