High Flow Catalytic Converter
I am thinking about getting a high flow cat for my 1990 olds eighty eight and could not find what i wanted on the search. I am wondering if i can do this myself without a welder.
Here are some pictures of the cat as of now.
Rear:
Front:
Whole:
It looks as if you could just pull it off and put a new one on.
What brand and type and or part # would i get. A link to and exact fit would be great.
What would be involved in doing this if i did it myself?

anythings possible, u could cut the old cat off, and put a high flow on with exhaust pipe clamps, thats how my jeep was from the factory.

I was hoping it would slide out so i wouldn't have to cut it. Maybe if it does slide out then i could loosen the exhast up and take the old one out, put a new one in and seal it with a exhast sealer. Does it even look welded? I cant see any marks.
Does it sound any better?

If you see no clamps, it was weleded. Probably at the factory and it'* a super clean job.
In either case you'll pretty much need to cut the old one out, put the new one and some pipe in (new ones are usually much smaller)
