Hmm....I've wondered about that? I have never in 45 years dealt with a problem like this...it'* weird that it'll run with a spark tester on it but will not start with it off.

That is weird. I can't place a reason on that behavior.

Today it would not start even with the spark tester attached...... Ok, I've replaced the plugs and wires, the coil pack, the ICM, the crank sensor, the cam sensor, the wiring from the ICM to the crank sensor/cam sensor. The only thing I have not done is replace the ECM....... I found one on Ebay today and ordered it in.

Ouch yeah, it'* rare but it happens. Here on the forum I've seen a couple from your generation that have gone bad on a couple of pins in the last few months. You've done everything else that I would have done for this issue.

The ECM is really the only other thing I've not dealt with.....so I'll update this when it comes in and "if" it fixes my problem..... This car is 30 years old and I've had it since '97 it has 318k on it, but it is my reliable spare (until now).

I switched computers just to check.... no luck.... I can't get the thing to start.....it has no spark..... I have new ICM, New Coil, New Crank Sensor, and a different wiring harness from the ICM (and I checked all leads on the harness and I have continuity on all leads), This is stumping me......
