Default Bogging down.

How'* it going every one. My name is Robert and I'm from Baldwin, Georgia. I bought a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1 liter multi-port about 2 months ago. The people I bought it from neglected to inform me that it had been sitting for about 4 years before I drove it on that faithful day. Anyways, I got it going down the road and as I pressed down on the gas it started shuddering and jerking. Eventually it completely shut off and now it doesn't want to start at all. The motor will still turn over but it won't engage so I know it is nothing internally. But I have other ideas that it could be anything from the fuel filter to fuel pump or the fuel injectors are bad. It could be another half dozen problems that I'm not aware of but that'* why this forum is here. If anyone has any ideas of what may be causing such a problem please do not hesitate to reply to this post. I help everyone is staying safe and God bless all.

We're going to need some more information.

Is it out of gas?

How many miles on it?

Does the fuel pump run?

What is the fuel pressure?

Do you have spark?

Any other information you'd like to volunteer?

Just a thought. How old is the gas in the tank? The stuff does go bad over time.
