My 1991 Olds 98, sometimes the AC Compressor does not work.....IF I disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and reconnect it, then it will work for several weeks....then stop working and then I have to disconnect battery and so on....... why?

Not sure why the reset fixes it temporarily. Do you have a dvom?
Need to do some testing when it'* not working.
