Default 95 Olds 88 Traction light always Lit

Ok i have the craziest luck guys ok so on my 95 olds 88 my traction off/on light on the dash always been lit since i had the car the button itself didn't work/do anything if you pushed it the light would be off until i drive down the road maybe 20 second then would pop up every day each time, so i changed my pcv the other day and for some odd reason now the traction light doesn't pop up at all now when i pull off from a stand still lightly it feels as my trans is dragging/engaugeing after take off like sumthn is holding it back also seems to want to shut off if i dont smash the gas but only sometimes also it holds first gear a longer as if it were slipping with w/o throttle if i drive normal it shifts fine threw all gears now i never had full power to begin with since i owned the car but this never happend untill i changed my pcv any thoughts? Also trans fluid is full

The light is typically a bad ABS sensor at one of the wheels or the traction control module itself.

The other stuff...kinda sounds like you created a vacuum leak. is your car charged or not?

Not: Make sure there are two o rings and the spring in place for the pcv.

SC: Check the cover to ensure it'* sealed. And there should be an o-ring under the pcv.

I agree with a vacuum leak. With the engine running, take off the oil fill cap and put your hand over it. You may feel a vacuum there. Recheck the install of the PCV.

For the ABS light. Ya, you have a bad sensor or a bad plug/wire. Here'* a test for the WSS. https://www.gmforum.com/trouble-shooting-test-procedures-141/wss-wheel-spin-sensor-test-296556/

Thread Title expanded and moved to it'* proper Mechanical Section. General Chat is for items that affect all platforms and "General Chat". It really helps the GearHeads, others with ownership of same/similar Models, the Forum regarding search bots, and our own internal search engine when we keep things in order. Thanx.

I also added your Year/Make to your Signature Block Jason, it makes it so much easier for GearHeads and similar owning members when you have a problem and ask.
