Default A few interior modification questions

First off, I want to find a Cutlass Rallye gauge from 78-87 for my '77 Delta, I know the size is a little different, but can this cluster be made to work with my car? I don't care if it doesn't have the gear indicator, I plan to install a floor shifter and console from a G body, which leads me to my second question. As for the dummy lights in the new cluster, I was going to block off the old ones in my car and move the appropriate lights over to the cutlass cluster. Alternatively, is there another cluster I could use? I could make a custom gauge pod, but I'm not really fond of the idea of paying a pile of money for a few gauges, they all seem pretty over priced.

Is it possible to install a floor shifter and center console from a G body? If so, how do I get rid of the column shifter?

And third, what is the best way to add new studs so I can put in Monte Carlo G body seats? I'm going for seats from a Monte 'cause they recline, and as far as I know they are the only available seats except for maybe F body seats that recline.

Lastly, would the rallye steering wheel from a Cutlass fit on the column in my car? If not, I was thinking of installing a Grant wheel, the hard plastic wheel in my car is coming apart and it'* kind of annoying to be stabbed by the plastic wood trim every other day.

1 you would have to get a good wiring diagram for both cars and switch any wires and there may be a difference in the speedo.

2 probably can get the prices all from the same car. The column from a floor shift car should have a cover for the column.

3 not sure about the other stuff, but the way Gm is most parts interchange or are easy to modify to fit

That'* pretty much what I thought, I'll go up to the junkyard in the next couple months before it gets too cold here, it'* easier to get around up there in the fall 'cause mutant thorn bushes they have die off and become brittle, so they don't usually stab you. Plus the critters are usually gone by then.

The speedometer, from what I've read, if it isn't the same one, the cable is easily bought in various lengths and will fit my transmission.

As for the lighting, I'm not sure if it has the same wiring as my dash, or if I'll have to crimp a few wires.

And I'm considering swapping my car over to four bucket seats, just to make it interesting. Hey, modern cars have 'em, why can't I? Seat belts might be a slight issue, but I"m sure I can work that out.
