Default 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1L Coolant Bleeder Screw Broke

I was changing the coolant and when I went to open up the bleeder screw above the water pump, it broke off. Just the smaller screw, not the bigger one that seems to screw into the black metal coolant hose to the pump. My question is can I still fill the radiator with just the one bleeder working??? Also, will it leak from there when it is full and pressurized??? It didn't loosen at all just sheared right off??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!

i did that too, mine never leaked from there, and i just bleed the system by taking the lower portion out and reinstalling when coolant starts coming from there.

then stop at a JY and pick up a whole bleeder assembly (top and bottom pieces) out of any 3.1 or 3.8 motor. The 3.8 works in a 3.1 like it was born there.

Did that fix to my sis'* car.
