1991 Olds 98 starting problem

Hello, it's me again with a problem with the old 1991 Olds 98 Regency.... Last week I started it, and went to back out of the driveway. It cut off and would not start again...... The engine turns but it will not start.... I got out my Noid light kit and I had no spark light on the noid on any of the injectors..... I got a new Crank sensor and put it on.... still would not start and have no spark. I had another ECU for the car in the garage so I switched it out and still had no spark and no start..... I checked all the fuses, and did not find any that were blown. i checked continuity of all the wires on the wiring harnes..... no problem there..... I still cannot get it to start and have no spark...... what should I look at now?

You need an ICM

I wondered about that, but just replaced that about 10 months ago...................

It looks like it was replaced around 13 months ago, but definitely should last longer than that.

What manufacturer made it?

Could also be something else about this car is killing ICMs.

Usually a coil that is drawing a little to much current or it has broken down insulation that is allowing some of the secondary to leak into the primary which will overload the ICM.
A scope will show the offending coil.
