My memory was wrong and 47 is good with KOEO. The crank sensor sends the signal to the ICM which interprets it and produces a fuel signal. Your ICM may be bad.
Here's a diagram of your system.

If ICM was bad would I have spark though? I have spark I mean it could be starting to fail but at this point I don't think it's junk.

FWIW The DIS module that sits under the coils is the same as an ICM. That may be your problem.

okay I will check that. I believe I have found the other end to the mystery pigtail. Must have overlooked this 100 times by now but this is laying on top of the oil filter unplugged and is also purpleyellow. The wiring diagram above has only shown me two things being purpleyellow and the are the CPS and VSS which are both plugged in. Still have no idea what this mystery plug could be for.

That connector is probably for a different application.

Such as a different motor of the era? Would they have the same main engine harness ?Thats what its tied into. Haven't even thought about that

Yeah. They made a main engine cable with everything needed for all within a platform. There's always one or two with no where to go.

sweet I think I'll quit worrying about it then because there is a lot to remove to actually get down to it
