100* Day With A S2 L67

Today it got up to 100* here. A first while owning the LSS. I don't know if the high speed fans are not doing thier jobs cause I damn near overheated. Probably hit 240* for a good 5 minutes while cruising gentily on the highway. I have a 180* T-stat and there is coolant in the resivior. Abeit there is a good cup or so less than a month ago. Maybe time for a flush?

Sounds like you could be getting to that flush time. Always a good precation also. I just drove 132 miles straight from Marty's house and I never got hotter than 189.8 on my scan tool. I had my high speed fans on the whole way home too.

Did you have you're AC on full blast. I went 160 miles transporting 4 whiney old farts that needed it 20* in the car. I thought I would get hypothermia.

A/C Still doesn't work....Heat exhaustion is setting in a lil bit yet.

I bet. At least having a sunroof helps. Still with this heat it prolly just feels like a blow torch.

Yeah, my car was running hot too. According to the bank clock when I ran up and got laundry detergent it was 102*. I have an IV line hooked up to a bottle of ice cold water. J/K but I wish I did -I feel like toast and I've hardly even been in the sun.

And my A/C Compressor started on fire after you left Nate. I started the car to pull it around back so it wasn't blocking the driveway and by the time I parked it out back it was on fire. I remembered dad had a fire extinguisher in the 56 Oldsmobile two cars away so I grabbed it and had the fire out before any damage was done outside the A/C compressor.

I had to back out of the driveway, and around the block so I could get to the alley. As bad as the yard looks I couldn't drive across it.

Oh I see....How did you know it caught fire?

Hey Fantastic, at least you're not this bad off for heat woes LOL

Well, the large plume of smoke and the stench were pretty much a dead give away
