P0300


Description
Random misfire
This is a random misfire and not connected to any one cylinder

Symptoms
Symptoms may include:
  • Engine may be harder to start
  • Engine may stumble and or hesitate
Causes
A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty spark plug or wire
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor
  • Faulty fuel injector
  • Faulty ICM
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter
  • Running out of fuel
  • Poor compression
  • Faulty MAF
  • Defective computer
