Description
Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction
KS module reads KS to determine if excessive detonation
(knock) is present. If excessive knock is present, PCM will retard
timing until knock goes away. When KS module is missing or
malfunctioning, PCM will set DTC P0325.
Symptoms
You may notice problems including a lack of power and perhaps some hesitation.

Causes
- The knock sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced
- There is a wiring short/fault in the knock sensor circuit
- Mechanical problem with the engine.
- Check the resistance of the knock sensor
- Check sensor voltage
- Check for broken/frayed wires leading to the sensor
- Replace the knock sensor
- If knock can be heard repair engine.
