My own house is haunted. Doesn't freak me out though.

How so? I'd like to know. This kind of stuff interests me. Scares the crap out of me, but is interesting at the same time.

I've seen it, and just heard it at other times. Obvious sound of a large person walking around in the adjacent room, stops when you go in the room. Saw it in another room once, Ex wife saw it another time. My youngest saw it in her room.

Occasionally slams doors, or rattles something (like a fork on a plate, but never when you're in the room.) Unmistakeable identifiable noises that have no explanation.

We think it's the original owner. We know he died in the house sometime before 1897. John Lear.

Bill, heres what you do to see the ghost.
Sit in your room, all the lights off, with a baseball bat, and scream out BRING IT ON YOU SOB!
Thats a pretty old house Bill, but older ones are defintally awesome!
You should get a crew in there to investigate, might be cool to see what kind of "readings" they get!

Oh and Sweet site, were i live is on there!

Alberta - Red Deer - Lee and Short Law Office - This building was a hospital over 100 years ago. It was also the doctor Parsons home. Many people died there from a super flu, including nurses and the doctor's wife. Over the years many different groups have tried to run in the house. All eventually left because of unusual activity. When the house was under renovation for the currant tenant many workman saw nurses upstairs in the
attic. The night janitor quit on her first evening when she saw a woman on the back stairs, who tried to push her down. The motion sensor alarm goes off all the time for no reason. Doors lock by themselves. And a child was said to have been tickled.

Alberta - Edmonton - La'Boheme Bed and Breakfast - Old Gibbard Block in northeast Edmonton. Built in 1912. It was an upscale apartment building. Woman employee was murdered and dragged down three flights of stairs to basement where she was dismembered and fed into furnace. The sound of her head bouncing off each stair can be heard at night. The original furnace is still in use.
Ive drove past there!

willwren 02-27-2004 01:59 PM

My place was built in 1882. That's pretty old for the west coast.
