That'* right...the kids are heading back to school!!!! I know many people have started school already, but up here tomorrow is the first day back. In some districts they have what is called a NID-day or a ProD Day, but not in ours. A few minor problems with our area though, the kids have no idea what class they will be in. Except PontiacJessica, she is going into grade 7 and she knows exactly where she is going. PontiacAndrew on the other hand, has to report to the class he was in last year, they all have to do that and for the next week they will all be in last years classes. The school the kids attend is a K-7 school and Jessica is so excited because she gets to rule the school this year!!!

Ya, can hardly wait to get them back.

Our private school just rolled Grade 9 into the primary grade that goes K-9 now. Victor is in Gr.8 this year and I'm relieved that he will remain there another year.

There are two highshools, Brooks Primary Gr.9-10 and Brooks Senior Gr.11-12

Chynna goes into Gr.11........a Senior now.

Kim and Kate go back tomorrow. Katie knows where she'* going, but Kim has no clue what classes she has until tomorrow morning at school. First year of high school for her.

I know the feeling of the first day of high school. I had no clue where my classes where, since the teachers were all moved around. But I guess its one of the reprecusions of a school who'* nickname is "reffer valley"

Because the second week was right in the middle of September 11th, 2001.

FIrst year of high school!!!! WOW, that is a big step. Please let Kim know that I will be thinking of her tomorrow.

Next year will be the confusing year, Jessica starts high school and most likely the other elementary school in town will be conbined with the school the kids attend now and be made into one big school. :? It all has to do with declining enrolement.
