Default An essay I wrote for class

The place that I find most interesting is when I’m behind the wheel of my car. I have always been fascinated with cars and other motorized things. This began when I was a little boy. I would absolutely have a fit if I didn’t have a matchbox car in my playpen. So naturally this passion progressed in time with starting to collect models and posters. Then I found that there was many interesting reading material out there that only had to do with automobiles. These would include magazines, chapter books and other numerous books. By the time I was 13 I was ready to have my license! My grandpa and I had become very close, and where constantly going to car dealerships and reading up on the juicy gossip that had just came from Detroit. While I was 13 was when I first drove a car on the road. This would constantly happen when my grandpa and I left their house to go out on an excursion. Then all the fun stopped when my grandpa died when I was 14. But his life seems to go with me wherever I go because I own the car that he used to own and drive. This is the same car that I first drove with him when I was 13.

You are probably thinking that this car must have been a fast and cool Corvette, a noble old Cadillac, or a luxurious Mercedes-Benz. Well, not exactly, it’* a little bit of each of those. It is a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. I know what you’re thinking, “It’* just some grandma cruiser that is the size of my whole garage”. Here is where I prove you wrong. It has instincts of a Corvette, room of a Cadillac, and luxuries of a Mercedes-Benz. Now this is my type of car!

As you know, this car is very important to me emotionally. When I start to have the urge of just speeding like none other or taking a corner to fast, I think what would my grandpa do or think of what I was doing. That corrects my mind right away! I believe, in a way, that how I treat my car is how I would if my grandpa was there with me.

I was proud of my work and thought some may also find it interesting. I know of the passing of other BC'* family mamber'*, I feel for you for who you have lost!

Well written. That really wraps up the "luxury with attitude" pitch nicely.

It'* awesome that you still have a piece of your grandfather with you everyday. I'm glad to hear that he is still keeping in you in line
