Trip to DC this weekend
Well I was sent to DC this weekend on business so I missed the last 3 days of NEBF. :( As After work I saw some of the sights. Here are some pics....
We did "The Mall" as it'* called... Here'* the Washington Monument....
The other way as The Capital.
The new WWII Memorial
The Wall. Of all the places we visited, this was the most somber....
The National Archives was cool.... Here'* The Declaration of Independence.
And The Constitution
And the Bill of Rights.
Even one of the 4 remaining copies of the Magna Carta. This was the forerunner of the US Declaration Of Independence, dated 1215.
The White House.
For anyone who is looking for a cool history filled vacation I recommend DC. Everything we saw was free, from the Smithsonian to the National Archives. You could easily spend the day just in the Smithsonian alone. I have some great pics for the Air and Space museum.
