My new free truck (dialup warning)
My neighbor died a few weeks ago and it turns out he willed his truck to my family, who in turn titled it in my name. Its a 1977 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 400 small block. The drivetrain is perfect with only 60k, but the body is done for.
I love it! It'* my favorite body style of all time!
And the frame is ready to drop on the axle....

Bill...not sure how many springs in the back, but we also have 2500HD and 3500 silverados with identical suspension and axles (not identical to my truck; identical between the two). We can't figure out the difference.

thats the cleanest interior ive ever seen on a farm truck.
Its shame the car cancer has done that much damage.
But look at it this way, you have a engine and transmission in great shape, im sure it wouldnt be too hard to find a donor truck.
