2004-05 Chevy Impala SS
Anyone had a chance to drive one? I am talking about the 3800 */c, NOT the 2006 V8. I have only gotton a chance to drive the Base model and an LS a long time ago, and they seemed pretty nice. I was wondering for those who have been behind the wheel of an 04-05 SS, what you thought? Is the ride pretty jarring, is it comfortable enought for a long trip? And pretty much anything else.

My uncle has one. Its quite the performer. The power is pretty raw and untamed, would make a definite "fun" car. Can't handle the interior though. Hence my general "pass on it" approach.

I agree with Jim on the Interior aspect..im not a huge fan of the design.
However, the car itself is VERY good looking, exhaust looks good, fog lights suit it...
SS Supercharged Impalas are kinda rare as well...however, I would own one, There was one here that I would of bought had I of not had my SSEi, 04 with 5600 kms on it...basically...it was new..still

I'll take the LS4 over the L67, it'* actually lighter. V8 with a nice exhaust setup, and some work for the upper RPM powerband... = Add a turbo, and yeah..
(this reminds me, i need to Drive Jim'* 'Rora again to hear that roar..)
04-05 interior as mentioned above, a huge turnoff. I love the new GM cockpits however, the radios and HVAC are WORLDS ahead of anything GM has made.
