So the other day it is snowing out, salty roads, yadda, yadda... I look over and there is a brand new Shelby GT500 plowing thru the snow. Now I know if I had the GT500 from Gone in 60 seconds out in that weather, someone would shoot me for being so stupid. Does the same rule apply to the new GT500?

With 8150 coupes and 2694 convetibels being produced it doesn't strike me as a collectors item. Might as well loose a bunch to make the remaining worth more. LOL

If I had something like that, it would not leave the garage unless it was nice and sunny outside. I wouldn't even drive it in the rain if I could help it. It just bothers me that someone would drive one of those in the snow/ice...

I was just thinking abiout the whole "Winter Beater" concept. Maybe it's because I'm poor, but I can't understand spending that much on a really cool car, and then not driving it. If I'm paying for it, I'm gonna by God use it!!

Granted, if I had an alternative, I might leave it at home in weather when someone might hit me, but I'd be driving that puppy as much as humanly possible.

this is an odd year, so far I have seen TWO! Porche's, One Vette(C6 Z06), and on FERRARI :!: :shock:

and this year is pushing toward the all time record for snowfall! :roll:
