Wow, just when I thought teenage pregnancy from 13-17 is bad

- I read this..

The baby's birth at University Hospital on Nov. 4 was routine.

What wasn't routine was the fact that the infant's mother was just 10 at the time, impregnated by her mother's boyfriend.

Now, social workers are trying to figure out how to unravel the mess involving one of the youngest children ever to give birth in Greater Cincinnati.

Prosecutors were in court Wednesday to discuss what to do with both children, the newborn and her now 11-year-old mom.

The court session in Hamilton County Dependency Court on Wednesday was primarily a status session on how the baby and young mother are doing.

At the same time, Lockland police were in Columbus talking to a convict whose DNA shows he's the baby girl's father.

Michael Chaffer, 40, is accused of impregnating his girlfriend's 10-year-old daughter, according to Hamilton County prosecutors.

The baby's birth set off an investigation by the Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services and stunned social workers because the baby's mother is so young.

And that's not even the youngest to have a kid. sometime , in the 40's, a 5 year old *gave birth* to a baby boy. Sometimes, you gotta wonder about things going through people's heads. I hope this guy rots!

Some people make me sick

I don't believe in abortion, but I think this would have been a good time to perform it.

yuck.

erics00ls 02-03-2008 01:09 AM

i'd say i support a woman's choice, but we won't go into the debate. but yea, i hope the guy ROTS in jail.

and I'd also put the mother under charges for letting a man in her house while there was an investigation underway. The guy probably figured she isn't old enough to get pregnant, thought he'd get away with it.. guessed wrong, bud! sick motherfucker

what gets me isnt that it happened.

people are sick. not surprising.

what is surprising is that she carried it to term. and didnt die in childbirth

samueljackson 02-03-2008 01:17 AM

poor girl. i really feel bad for her.

Agreed. While I too find this not surprising, it does reinforce what I have thought for a while...girls are becoming women much sooner than previous generations (I'm talking from a developmental standpoint here folks.) Thanks to hormones and other chemicals found in our foodstock that wasn't there 20 years or so ago, our little girls won't stay little for long.

LittleHoov 02-03-2008 10:03 AM

True dat, just one example is that we make cows produce extremely high volumes of milk, completely unnatural, by using tons and tons of hormones. Then when little Suzy is born its always "drink your milk honey, itll make you strong". But I would definitely agree, Ive gotten almost sick after finding out how old certain girls are. Im almost 21 and when youre oogling a girl and find out from someone else that shes like 12, it can make you a little queezy.

not true.

evidence doesnt even come close to bearing this assumption out.

common sense isnt always right.

what does make sense (and HAS been proven by more than "common sense") is that when theres a food surplus, people mature faster. its biology. when theres a food surplus, the body goes into "reproduce!" mode to fill the niche available. resulting in faster maturation.

humans dont cause every change we observe. its the height of arrogance to assume we do.

its not your fault for posting this, but it just "ruined my day" as i have neice's that exact age.. i would be in jail for murder if i was that lil girl's brother or cousin..
that is just so sick i feel he deserves the CHAIR.

vital49 02-04-2008 12:44 PM

I'm surprised she could even get pregnant at that age. Ovulation doesn't start that early.

And, yes, I definitely agree that it's odd she went full term.

Yes it is odd that she did carry the child to full term, what is not odd is that she is ovulating at that age. Jessica got her first menstration when she was 9 years old, and that is not unheard of. Most of the girls are getting it at 10 years old.

It is just crazy!! I hope that man and woman both get time in jail, especially the man, he DOES deserve the chair.

What I don't understand is WHY on God's green earth would the athorities allow this little girl to carry the baby, they should have stepped in and while I do think it is a woman's right to choose, this little girl does not have the mental capacity to make that huge decision.

Pearl_bonnie02 02-04-2008 03:13 PM

Oh my! I hope this guy rots in jail, or better yet get's the chair.

Even though I got pregnant with my daughter at 15 and had her at 16, I don't think ANY child should have a kid young even though I know it happens all the time. I'm a statistic, I know, but this....I just can't believe they let her carry this baby. I feel so bad for that little girl.

Shadow 02-04-2008 06:15 PM

Wow how can you even be attracted to a 10 year old to do the act in the first place? I mean I have seen some hot 15 year olds but cmon 10?

Easy there... i know lots of dairy farmers (used to be one myself) and don't know anyone that uses BST. Its only big in the media which pisses me off.
